Olive oil is the most highly mono-unsaturated oil at 77% and is naturally cholesterol-free.

Olive oil is an ideal substitute for poly-unsaturated oils like corn or safflower oil, and unlike blended oils, Fasolino’s Olive Oil is 100% pure olive oil.

Olive oil contains no salt and goes well with herbs and spices. Use it as a salt substitute in food preparation. Olive oil may also be used as a substitute for butter or margarine in many recipes.

Olive oil contains 1.6 mg of Vitamin E (a natural antioxidant) per tablespoon. One tablespoon provides 8% of RDA for Vitamin E.
